Stella Harville, 24, and her fiance' Ticha Chikuni, were banned by a vote Sunday, November 29, 2011, from worship participation and/or membership in Gulnare Free Will Baptist Church in Kentucky for being an interracial couple.

*There are a lot of interracial couples out there feeling relieved that they can take one Kentucky church off their list of churches to join.  Even though the town may be small, surely there’s another game in town besides this one.

According to MSNBC, Stella Harville, 24, and her fiance’, Ticha Chikuni, had visited Gulnare Free Will Baptist Church before, but wanted to sing a song during, what would turn out to be, their last visit.  (more…)
