According to Cedric, the show will keep it real about life, love, and of course, church folks.
The sitcom will focus on issues couples face within the confines of marriage, while also exploring religion and what Christians, facing human experiences, look like, really.
According to Cedric the entertainer, who plays an R&B superstar-turned-minister, Reverend Boyce "The Voice" Ballentine, the religious world imposes unrealistic expectations upon people. With the show, he hopes to break down "this expectation that the world of religion means that you've gotta become so docile and, so 'holier than thou' that you can't be a real person," he says.
