Houston's daughter is reportedly still coping with the death of her mother, and only filmed a few episodes before quitting a few weeks ago, RadarOnline.com sources said.
"Bobbi Kristina had a private breakdown and barely anyone saw it," an unidentified source said. "She was crying and said she needed a minute, she needed a break to get herself together. But then she decided she couldn't handle doing the show right now. She's still mourning her mom."
Although Perry gave Brown the option to take a little bit of time off and come back to the show, they were reportedly forced to do rewrites to explain the absence of her character when she didn't return weeks later.
"He understands. He's upset and worried about her," the source reportedly told RadarOnline.com. "But now he's had to do a lot of restructuring work on the show."
While reports surfaced that Houston's daughter will reportedly lose out on earning $30,000 an episode by working on Perry's show, the director, producer and actor denied that any of the claims were true.
