Shiketa Oliver owns a hair styling salon just south of Atlanta, Ga.

"I love what I do. I love the people. I love to make them pretty," she says. "I like people who have issues and they come in the door and say can you fix me? And I say, 'Yea, I can fix you.'"

Her salon is successful, which is a good thing since she's a single mom raising five kids. But before she opened her business, she was in a financial mess. Her minimum wage job didn't cut it.

"I was trying to juggle paying rent, paying the electricity, paying for what I needed for the kids," she recalls. "I just didn't make enough money!"

Three months behind on rent and facing eviction, Shiketa had no clue what to do. Her pastor encouraged her to apply what the book of Malachi says about money.

"Pastor says that's the only scripture that God says put me to the test. 'I'll open the windows of heaven that you won't have enough room to receive.' So I said, I need the windows of heaven to open up for me. So I said, I 'm going to try it."

A few weeks later, she got a call from work saying she received a bonus!

"My check came the day of the eviction. I stuck my receipt up to them and said you won't need to do an eviction here."
