Getting Rid of Your Witherness

Part One

Matthew 12:10

And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

In the process of maintaining strong hands for the vision, in order to properly strengthen those hands, we must recognize and be delivered from out witherness. To wither, according to Meriam Webster's is defined as, to shrivel, fade, decay, to lose the freshness of, to do harm to. Your hands are symbolic as to your power of authority. They are your ability, skill, and gifting. We all have parts of our lives that have withered. Maybe you are a skillful musician or singer, but what are you doing with it? Maybe there is something within the ministry such as assisting the elderly that you can do; now is the time to do what you have in your heart and mind to do. God is come to deliver you and heal you from whatever you stand in need of so that the vision can go to another level. Nations are depending on the vision of your ministries. Our families and co-workers are depending upon it.

Our lives should be hid in the vision. We can't do anything with God, his plan, or the leader God has placed in our lives. In these last days, make sure the Lord is with you. You must be able to discern whenever a person comes in your life. Don't take anything for granted; God is pouring out His Spirit and He need vision minded people who are willing to run in these last days. Just think about the withered area in your lives for a moment. Write these areas down and ask God to heal these dry areas so that you may do those things that the Father would have you to do.

Matthew 12:13

¹³Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

 

In order to be used by God, we must be a mighty, violent people; willing to do everything with all of our might and strength that it may bring glory and honor to the Lord. This is the the time that the church arise and do what we know to do. The Bible says, that the "kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and the violent one taketh it by force."

 

Some of your witherness may be the words you speak out of your mouth. Understand that we create our future by what we say. Our destiny changes by our words. Where you are today is a result of what you've been saying. This is why it is so important to package yourself for where you are going. Enhance yourself and never stop learning. This season we are in is one of knowledge. God want us to be whole in every area of our lives. He want us to walk in His total package: responsibility, integrity, consistency, reliability, and productivity. If you are not walking in any of these areas, it is impossible to be used completely by God. God want to complete the real person in you. Allow Him to do so, by stretching out your witherness, or that thing that tries to keep you from doing what the Lord is requiring of us to do.
