Maintaining A Mindset Of Wealth

 

Psalm 66:12Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthyplace

If we take a look at our lives, we can all say that we could use more finances, more wealth, or more resources.  I want to build your faith concerning true wealth today.  True wealth is not money.  True wealth is when you have an ear to hear what the Spirit has to say unto the church.  It is having a hunger to hear the Word of God and understanding God's ways.  You see everything we need is in God.  The bible tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and all these other things will be added unto us.  God knows exactly what you need.  He knows your desires, but there is somethings we must do in order to evoke the blessing of God.

The times we live in are troublesome times.  Do not forsake the assembling together in the house of the Lord.  Our help comes out of the sanctuary.  This is a wealthy mindset.  Where there's unity, there's strength.  We need one another.  God commands the blessing when we understand unity.  When God commands the blessing, it has to obey His command.  No unity, no blessing.  Remember our blessing is to further the gospel and aid in the winning of souls and not just for our personal gain. 

A wealthy mindset is a peaceful mind.  So many today will do anything just to have peace in their minds.  No amount of money can give you peace.  We all experience distress, but run to God.  As things get worst around us, we are supposed to get better because we are the church.  When people around you begin to worry because they don't know what to do, you have a heavenly account that you can go to and make withdrawals for whatever you stand in need of.

Just because we go through pain, suffering, death, or even job loses, doesn't mean we back up.  If anything happens, we should work harder.  We must keep on pushing until the end.  We are winners and winners never quit.  We can't give up now.  The world need to see your light.  They need to see what true wealth and riches are all about.  Many of them have plenty of money, but no peace to go with it. They need to see peace in the midst of your storm.  People of God, I know that God has not led us this far to leave us.  Do you believe that?  God knows your need and He's given us access to get everything we need.  God is not a liar; His word is true.  God promised that He would bless us, but we must understand that all of the blessing we get are not going to be financial.  It's a blessing to wake up every morning.  It's a blessing to be able to clothe ourselves.  It's a blessing to be in your right mind.  Wake up and see the true riches of God.

To experience more wealth, give more.  God gave us love, even when we didn't deserve it.  This is the reason why we should show love toward all men.  If you need more finances, sow more into the kingdom of God.  This is the law of reciprocity, whatsoever you sow, your will reap.

True wealth is a reward and not just money.  It is a reward to be in good health.  It is a reward to be clothed in your right mind.  It is a reward for having a place to live.  The Lord has rewarded us with these things.  Remember, nothing just happens.  It's God's will that we be blessed and prosper. 

Another attribute of true wealth is love.  It is important that we walk in love in every area of our lives.  We must love God and love one another.  It is because of the love of God that He sent His son to deliverer us and save us.  If you don't possess love, you won't be able to make it in these end days.  Instead of finding fault in one another, love.  It is love that covers a multitude of sins.  People know when they are not in right standings with God.  They do not need you to point out their mistakes.  Show them love.  Love will convict their hearts.  Love is what will change a person.  Even the most mean of people want to be loved.  So many just want to feel real love and we must be their first step to receiving that from God.  If we don't show love as being the church, they will never see love in Jesus.  From this day on, decide that you are going to walk in love in every area of your life.
