I Samuel 15:17 And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?

We are are all subject to pride. If we say we have no pride, we lie. Pride must be dealt with in order to make it to our next level. Pride is a serious issue; this is why Satan was kicked out of heaven. He thought he was more than God. Pride is one of the worst things that a Christian can get entangled in. We must always acknowledge that God is the reason of our being. We must understand that He is our all and all, and without Him we can do nothing.

God is calling us to walk in humility. Humility is what is needed in the body of Christ. When you understand that you need God and one another, this is humility. Many people think that as long as they have the Lord, that's it. No! God want us to walk in love with our neighbors and family members. He want us to love everyone we come into contact with, even those that are difficult to love. How can you love the Lord with all your heart, whom you've never seen and can't love your neighbor whom you see every day? That's a prideful spirit. Pride is what keeps us seperated. In this study we will discover the cunning tatics that the enemy tries to use to house pride in our hearts.

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Pride is an unnecessary weight. We must throw if off. There is no need for us to promote ourselves or walk in pride. God is the one that gives us promotion, but it's only in our humility. Everyday, we must ask God to help us to be humble. This is a daily act.

It is so easy to kick over into pride. Pride is evil; it talks. You can always tell a person full of pride because of their attitude. No one can tell them anything. These are the type of Christians that feel like God owes them something. We owe God our entire life. We can do nothing without Him.

A person full of pride is unreachable and unteachable. This person is this way because they refuse to hear instructions, corrections, or reproach. It's like a child that don't want to follow the rules in school. In the end, you will just be hurting yourself. God is giving us all the material we need to possess our promise land and make it in these end times, but if you think that you can do it without it, you are only deceiving yourself.
