Beware of The Spirit of Sabatoge"

Psalm 107:20

He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Satan know there's no way he can stop you. He's far more afraid of you than you are of him. We were made and created in the image and likeness of God. Because we are like God, the promises He made Jesus is what He has given unto us. When Jesus becomes Lord in our lives, there is no more of our own will, but it is His will. He defeated Satan and we can to. No devil in hell can do anything to you when you have God's Word in your heart. God's Word is truth. The Word of God must be the number one thing on our list. The Bible tells us that Heaven and earth shall pass away before one jot or one tittle of His Word return unto Him void.

Many of God's people are bound. Whatever has you bound today, stir up the gift of God on the inside of you.

Declare, "I will not quit." Too many people are losing focus and losing their faith because they haven't settled the issue. Settle the issue today. I've made up in my mind that if I got to crawl or nibble my way, I'm going to get there. I have to get to the place where God has called me to. I have got to keep pushing and pressing into the things of God. Many of you have made these things up in your mind and in your heart, but you are wondering why you are yet battling. I want to tell you today that the Spirit of Sabatoge is running loose in the Body of Christ, but it is time that we put it back in it's place and that's under our feet. In this study, you will learn how to recognize this spirit and ways to combat it with God's Word.

II Samuel 22:41

Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.

The Spirit of Sabotage operates as a strong demonic influence to abort the success and progress of divine ordain purpose, relationships, organizations, and projects. We see this spirit operating all over today. It is time to recognize it and deal with it. Satan will try to use all of us to function and operate in this spirit.

Anything that is ordained by God and instituted is for the furthering of the gospel. Vision is our main ordination. When vision is aborted, you instantly die. Sabotage stirs up jealousy, resentment, and suspicion to attempt to stop vision. It is often vindicated toward the persons who dictates its presence. This is what causes the camp to be divided. Sabotage can make you the victim and the perpetrator at the same time. This is why it is so important that we do not judge. Judging will cause what ever it is to come back on you. When you hurt others, you begin to hurt yourself. Sabotage will use you as a puppet on a string, or a pond. Understand that sabotage works with a well thought out plan. It knows exactly what it is doing. Satan studies us and knows our flaws, our ups and downs, and our fears. He plans through much observation. We can not afford to allow Satan to come into our lives. We are at the most crucial moment for the body of Christ.

Nehemiah 4:7-9

7But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth,

⁸And conspired all of them together to come and to fight against Jerusalem, and to hinder it.

⁹Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.

In the above passages, we see a situation. The walls of the city of Jerusalem were decayed and torn down. The people of God in this city decided to rally together and rebuild the walls to the city. In the midst of their good works, sabotage begin to show up. Many times when you go to do good, the devil has shown his face with attempts to make you stop and go back. His job is to keep you from being about your Father's business. Jealousy began to rise. The ones that were the closest to these people, or fellow saints, were the ones causing all of the trouble. Understand that most sabotage comes from those who sincerely and genuinely love you. Why is this? Many ask the question, well if you love me, why would you hurt me? It is our duty to realize the spirit that a person is operating and functioning in and not judge the person.

The spirit of sabotage's purpose is to prevent you from running your course and to prevent you from being all God

has called you to be. It's ultimate goal is to cause you to be paralyzed. It is impossible to put God on the back burner and then finish your course. You need Him. Satan should never be a threat to us. He can only attempt to stop you. You are the only one that has the power to keep pressing, or to stop. The only reason people that the spirit of sabotage goes after is those that are chosen. It only goes after those that can be detrimental to Satan. Satan does not want anything that he already has. He's greedy. He want everything that he can't have.

These people were persecuted because they were doing all the right things. They have pure motives, but the people's minds were so twisted, they couldn't even see it. Do not get discouraged because people do not understand the vision God has placed in you. Your vision is not for them to see until it comes to past. God is up to something with his people. He is looking for a people that will endure the persecutions and sabotage that attempts to grip them and move forward.

Nehemiah 6:1-2

^{1Now it came to pass when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard}

^{that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;)}

²That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief.

These men of God were attempting to rebuild the walls to the City of Jerusalem. This was a good task, it was something that everybody could take a part in doing, but the Spirit of sabotage crept in. People are always going to talk. The one thing I like the most about this situation was that the people of God continued to work. Although they were threatened, mocked, ridiculed for doing this, their focus was on the vision they had before them. To stop people from talking, Do Something! Make up in your mind that you are going to rebuild the Kingdom of God.

It should bother you when the walls of your ministry are broken. It should bother you when you go months or even weeks without seeing or hearing from your sister or brother in Christ. It should agitate you when things aren't being done in the spirit of excellency.

A made of mind is what kept Nehemiah and his people focused. The spirit of sabotage has your mind so tied up that you begin to think doubt when you should be faith minded. It has you beginning to fear when you should be standing bold and firm. The only way sabotage can work is if it comes in us. Don't give Satan a place in you. Continue until the end. Don't allow division to be a part of you. The proof of breaking the spirit of sabotage is when you preach and teach this gospel and tell of the goodness of Jesus. People need to hear the Word of God and not just from the pull pit.
