This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

I and my Ground Breaking staff would like to thank everyone who came out to join us in celebrating my two year victory over Type 2 diabetes this past weekend during the River Walk event.  Your presence helped to make the event a success.  If it was your first attempt at getting in the swing of exercising or your first attempt in a long while at getting back in the swing of your exercise routine, we encourage you not to quit, but to GO GET IT!  You've begun again.  Now keep pressing foward.

And with the event being a successful one, there is more of the same coming on The GDMS this week, namely tomorrow (or today depending on what time you read this blog).  Joining us for Artist Showcase Monday will be Elder Goldwire McLendon.  You know him as the 80 year old contestant from BETs Sunday Best.  He will be joining us to share this thoughts on his journey and his new project: The Best of Elder Goldwire McLendon, in stores now.

New artists are emerging on the scene everyday, as well as those who have supported and served in another man's vision, to finally be promoted with their own solo projects.  Sharing such a testimony will be Ms. Anita Wilson, who may be best known for singing background for Donald Lawrence & Co.  Now she is sharing her voice with the world as a gospel solo artist.  Her new project is entitled "Worship Soul".  Never heard of that?  That's okay because if youl tune in you can find out more on this new genre of gospel music.
