Janice Stevenson is the CEO/Founder of Destined To Adorn Resource Center, a non-profit organization, as well as a Project Manager for the Business Assistance Center located in Ft. Worth, Texas. Destined to Adorn Resource Center (DTA) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. Our mission seeks to impact and transform families who seek to experience a new beginning and transform their lives. The vision began as Sisters of Destiny Boutique in July of 2000; the store operated as a profitable business serving women and was widely recognized for its unique expos and symposiums. The store also hosted fashion shows and other events geared toward helping women achieve economic viability. The positive impact and inspiration reaching beyond clothing expressed by patrons of Sisters of Destiny Boutique gave way to an expanded vision called Destined to Adorn Resource Center. Destined to Adorn was birthed in 2004, after realizing the growing need in the community to help families and youth, who have dropped out of school, primarily due to poverty and related circumstances, including crime and pregnancy. DTA was organized to address the total needs of families through home-ownership, mentorship, career building, higher education, and community awareness. Prayer, partnerships, and patience paid off for Janice Stevenson and the Destined to Adorn team, where Destined to Adorn have now expanded to a 2nd location, serving over 22 apartment complexes in the east Fort Worth area. Our services are offered specifically to low and moderate income individuals.
